Straight Outta Chocolate is a Los Angeles based rock ‘n roll chocolate company run by dj/pastry chef Kate Steffens.

I specialize in high quality, hand-painted chocolate pieces, often used to top cakes.  While any picture can successfully be reproduced in chocolate, I choose to stick with what inspires me most:  music.  Thus, Straight Outta Chocolate: edible interpretations of album covers and musicians.

All orders are custom and one-of-a-kind.

All rock stars are 100% chocolate and 100% edible.

Chocolate pieces are custom made to order.

To order please call (323)454-3441 or email straightouttachocolate@gmail.com

Turn on, tune in and eat up!

    Dear Straight Outta Chocolate,
Love your recipes and most of all love your piece about “happy cooks.”
So true. Eating and cooking should never be a duty.
    Keep the stories coming

Hey! I’m a DJ too, what kind of music do you spin? I thought it was funny how this is a food blog run by a DJ, great social commentary there…somewhere.
    Hit me back!

What’s up Dan. I spin vinyl- most everything I play is from the 50s to the 70s. A lot of soul, reggae, psych, rock, funk, etc. My goal each night is to stay away from the usual songs and introduce people to stuff they might not have heard before.
